Peter Metherall, Sheffield Teaching Hospital
Dr Peter Metherall of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust was voted, by the users, to have delivered the most interesting and important presentation. His presentation on a Java based reporting and review add-on for the MAPS nuclear medicine processing system was received with great admiration and interest. Since this Link and Sheffield have entrered in to a commercial agreement to further develop and bring to market Pete's work. This add-on is now provided by Link as the jView system.
As his prize, Link sponsored Pete to attend last years RSNA congress in Chicago, USA.
Some delegates were so fascinated by the days proceedings, discussion went on long into the evening.
